Fall Update

Time for another Bruscato family update, it has been way too long! I don't know where to start... I guess I'll start with the growing addition in my belly. It has been a ROUGH 8 weeks but I do believe we are coming to the end of all the sickness. As long as I eat regularly and somewhat healthy, I've been feeling pretty good. I am 15 weeks.April seems a long way away but yet it is going by so fast. I know it will be here before we know it. No real sure where the baby is going to go but if it's like the rest of my kids it doesn't matter because they will sleep with me. =) The kids seem excited about the baby. I asked Emarie this morning if she was going to teach her baby brother to be sweet like her and she said,"No, my baby sister!" She is convinced it's a girl. She even told her teachers we are naming "her" Adrienne. I'm excited about letting this one be a surprise.
Guess I'll go to Emarie next. I don't know what to say about her. She makes us laugh with her funny comments, her facial expressions, and just her laid back funny little attitude. The other day Scott had her breakfast and told her to come get it. She said,"Just bring it to me daddy, I'm just right here." Then the other day she was asking me to do something and I kept telling her to hang on. Finally, frustrated as can be, she let out a loud,"UUUUGGGGHHHHH." She had her 3rd birthday about a month ago at bayou gymnastics. She had the best time. She loves to dance!! Anytime she hears music she instantly starts dancing. She started Preschool this year. I know she loves it because she's always happy to go and in a good mood when I pick her up but every day I ask her how her day was and all she says is,"bad." I think she thinks it's funny but she really will not give me any other information. She still loves to dress up. As soon as she gets home she goes straight to the play room to change into some kind of dressup clothes. She is still sleeping in our bed. Hopefully we can do something about that before baby comes along. =)
And then there is Isabelle...She started kindergarten this year and is doing so great! She has the same teacher Easton did, Mrs. Parks, and just loves her. She loves to write and do any kind of school work. She's doing gymnastics and playing soccer. In her 3 soccer games I think she has scored about 6 goals. She started something new this week. Since she was about 2 1/2 she has been sleeping on a bed in our room. Well lately she has been asking to have a friend spend the night. I told her she couldn't have a friend spend the night til she starts sleeping in her room. Well the last 2 nights she has gone to sleep in her room and stayed in her bed all night! I'm so proud of her because I know it has not been easy for her.
Next we have Easton...My big 1st grader. We got off to a rough start because his permanent teacher was out the first 6 weeks and so he had a bunch of different subs. But now that his teacher, Mrs. Colquette, is back he is really loving school and doing good. He's playing flag football this year instead of soccer. Not sure how much he likes it but but he's doing good and learning alot. He has pulled at least one flag every game. I asked him the other day if he likes football or does he wish he was playing soccer and he told me he shoulda played soccer because he's beast at soccer. =)  I guess I should talk about Luke to go along with Easton. He was so excited to have a dog and loves him so much but the novelty of it all has definitely worn off. Luke is such a good dog. Now that our fence is complete he pretty much stays outside and is pretty happy out there.
Then there is Braden. He turns 12 today! I can't believe he is 12!! He took the year off football so he's not been doing much but basketball is about to start up so he's excited about that. He's doing great in school, making mostly A's and a couple B's.
Scott and I are busy, busy, busy as you can imagine. Scott is coaching Easton's team but I decided not to coach Isabelle this year. I had been so sick, I just didn't think I had the energy to do it. We love this time of year where we pretty much spend the weekends watching football. Whether we are tailgating at ULM, over at a friends house, or just relaxing at home, our weekends are spent(after soccer and flag football) watching football. ULM is having a great year so it has made it a lot more fun. It's hard to believe it is already October. In less than a month we will be heading to CA to spend about 10 days for Thanksgiving. I'm sad we won't be able to go for Christmas this year but thankful to be able to go at Thanksgiving.
