Pool/Ice Cream Party

We went swimming the other day and the kids were freezing when they got out of the water. My mom showed them how if they lay on the concrete they would get warm. Easton is becoming quite a good little swimmer. It depends on the day but on a good day he can jump in on one side of the pool and swim to the other. He gets so proud of himself!!!

When we were getting warm we heard the ice cream truck. This was a new experience for Easton and Isabelle. Easton got Spiderman and Isabelle got powerpuff girl.

Corn Hole

We picked up this game when we were in Indiana. Uncle Tom built the corn hole game and me, my mom, Easton & Isabelle painted them.

Beach Trips

We've made a couple trips to the bech in the last couple weeks. The kids love the sand but are not to fond of the water.

Scott has a convention in Vegas so we made the drive over on Sunday and left the kids with my parents. It has been sooo relaxing!!! It's the first time Scott and I have been alone for an extended time since our honeymoon. It's been great!!!
Bellagio--we've watched the fountain about 5 times!!! I love it!!

Happy Birthday Grandma

There is a tradition on my moms birthday to go to Carpinteria, eat at the Palms, walk to the beach(pick up peppermint schnapps, cigars and scratch offs on the way) and sit on the lifeguard stand and scratch the tickets, smoke the cigars and drink the schnapps. We figured out the tradition was started 11 years ago!!! Scott and I haven't been able to go the last few years so we were excited to be able to go this year.
We drove to Carpinteria in style this year...Danny's limo!!!
After dinner we sang to grandma and had a little cake

I have the exact same picture of Kevin and Braden when Braden was Easton's age.
Easton wanted to fit in with the guys! haha

Checkin In

I took Easton and Isabelle to the dr. today for their wellness checkups, Easton's 3 year and Isabelle's 18 mo. Easton weighed in at 33lbs. and is 37'' tall. Dr. said he looks good but because of the constant drooling he probably needs to go to dentist to check out his tooth. Isabelle weighed in at 24lbs. and is 30''. Dr. pretty much said she's going to be the shorty of her class!!!

Happy 4th of July

4th of July was a very busy day but we had a blast!!!

We started at the ARC. There was a very cool pool with a lazy river, a little slide for Easton and Isabelle and a bigger slide that Braden and the adults went on.Then we went and ate and went to a little carnival in the park.

Wednesday...Day 9

Today we made the drive to Missouri to Taina's House. Other than Isabelle throwing up 20 minutes into the ride it was a smooth ride. We got there in time to watch Caelleb's last t-ball game, and Braden got to play too!!! They were both so cute!!!

Tuesday...Day 8

Today we went back to Bloomington and went to Indiana University. It is such a beautiful campus!!!The kids so happy to pose for another picture!!!

Loving on Uncle Kevin

This is Herman...Tia really hit it off with this man and talked about him the rest of the trip. She would tell me to drive fast because Herman was coming.

We ended the day with dinner at MJ's house.
