Goofy Kids

Easton got his hair cut on Monday. He was so funny at the hair cut...he kept making faces at himself in the mirror. I was trying to take a picture of him that night but he could not take his eyes off the tv. He looks like such a big boy!!!Isabelle found this hat in her room...she's so funny!!!

Enjoying Some Warmer Weather

When I say warmer weather, I wish I meant 70's and 80's but unfortunately we only got up to 50's and 60's but it beats the 30's and 40's. So while I was cleaning the house I kicked everyone else out. Easton is very exciting about playing weeball this summer so he got in a few practice swings. I think he took about 7 or 8 swings then it was onto the swing set.

Ag Expo 2009

The kids really enjoyed the Ag Expo again this year. They LOVED petting the animals and of course climbing on all the tractors!!!
Easton said he wanted to hold it but he freaked out when I went to put it in his hands!!

Chicken Pot Pie

I tried a new recipe and I am so proud of how good it was. It was half Bridgette's and half Barbara's Chicken Pot Pie. I'm gonna put it on here so I don't forget it. My life is so crazy right now that if I write it somewhere there's a good chance I will never see it again. So here it is...

Preheat oven to 375.
Mix 1 can cream mushroom soup, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 cup chicken broth, 1/2 cup sour cream, 2 bags thawed mixed veggies and 1/2 chicked shredded. Stir it up and pour in 2 qt baking dish.
In separate bowl mix 1 cup bisquick, 3 tbsp milk and 1/4 cup sour cream. Drop spoonfull of mix over chicken mix.
Bake 35 minutes.

It was great!!!

Baby Boy

2 more funny stories about Easton. Last Sunday we started making him sleep in his own bed. I lay in there with him until he goes to sleep and he has been doing pretty good. He tells me every night that he DOES NOT want to sleep in his bed, he wants to sleep in mommies bed. But he gets over it and goes to sleep. Well last night, he tried to get me by saying,"Mommy, I your baby boy so I don't have to sleep in my own bed!"

The other night Isabelle got in trouble for something so I gave her a little spank on her booty. Well Easton saw me do it and said,"Mommy, you not my mommy anymore cuz you can't spank Isabelle." I thought it was cute that he was standing up for her.

No End

I had read Easton this book and when it got to the end he got mad because he thought I should be reading more. He pointed to the letters and said,"Look, it's not done." I informed him that the letters said,"The End." So a little while later Braden brings in the last page of the book and tells us Easton tore it out. I go in the room to asked him why he did it and he said,"I took it out so there would be no end." I thought that was hilarious!!

1st Haircut

Isabelle got her first haircut today. She was scared at first and cried but once she started cutting her hair she was fine. She just trimmed it a little so it wouldn't look so stringy!!!

Happy New Year

A little late I know but I wanted to share these pictures. These were taken in the back of Aunt Angela's car as we watch Uncle David and Uncle Joe do fireworks. Easton didn't like them too much until he got to sit in the car.
Isabelle on the other hand wanted nothing to do with them!!
