I knew it was only a matter of time since Isabelle climbs on EVERYTHING and has since she could. Well the other night she woke up in the middle of the night. She kept crying for me so finally Scott told her he was going to put her in her crib. After a few minutes she's still crying so he sticks her in there and shuts the door. I decided to go out there and see what the deal was and right as I walked out her door opened and here she comes. We just looked at eachother like what in the world. So the next day I told Isabelle to show me how she got out. She got this little grin and told me no. I put her in the crib and told her again. This time she puts her foot up on the side of the crib, pauses(like should I really show her) then leaps over it. You should have seen the look on her face...she was so proud of herself. So I guess its time to turn the crib into a toddler bed and train her to stay in it.
This reminds me of another story. Last week Scott was out of town. Well, Easton still sleeps in our bed(I know, terrible!!!) and at this point Isabelle was in hers. I would get her to sleep with me than go lay her in her bed. Well one night she woke up when I layed her down but I decided to let her cry because she will usually go right back to sleep. So I go back in my room where Easton is still awake. He says,"mommy, Isabelle's crying." I said, "I know, its ok...she will go to sleep." There was a long pause then he goes,"But mommy, its really dark in there." I said,"Yeah but she tough. She will be ok." Another pause...then he goes,"mommy, I won't let the monsters get her. It will be ok!" Easy for him to say laying up in my bed but so sweet!!!
