"I poo-poo"

I know...kinda gross but this story is hilarious!!! Last night we went to take a bath. I put Easton on the toilet to go teetee. Well he did, then he kept straining. I told Braden "He's fixin' to poopoo in the potty.: Well sure enough, he did, and let me tell you he was excited. We were all chearing and he grabbed the frontof the toilet seat and did a little dance. It was great!!! So we went on with the bath and as we were about to get out I realized I had no towels. I went and grabbed them and when I got back to the bathroom Easton said in a very concerned voice, "I poopoo, I poopoo." It took me a minute to realize what he meant then it dawned on me. I said "You gotta poopoo?" About that same time I saw a bunch of little floaties poppin up through all the soap suds. It was too late!!! I pulled both of them out of the tub and made them go take a shower(of course they thought this was great).

Easton or Isabelle???
Give it a guess in the comments.

More pics

"Scrubs" from Aunt Kara and Uncle Brian.

This is my absolute favorite!!! Thank you Barbara!!!

Dress up

I played dress up with Isabelle last weekend and she was so good. These are all clothes I wore as a baby or my dolls wore. So here's to the old skool............

The blanket in the background was a gift from my moms friend Peggy.

"Tee-Tee in the Pot-ty"

That's right!!! It was a very exciting night in the Bruscato household. Easton went teetee in the potty. The last couple months(since I started buying two sets of diapers) I put Easton on the toilet before he takes a bath and I tell him "go teetee in the potty." Usually he just laughs and says "noooo."Then I put him in the bath and he goes(while looking at me and laughing). So I haven't been pushing it but I put him up there tonight and told him to go. Next thing I knew he was really straining and then he went. I was sooo excited I started screaming. Scott came in and we were all excited. Easton seemed very pleased with himself. I hope it was not just a fluke deal!!!

Bed Time Routine

Easton has established his bedtime routine. That would be on Scott's lap(Scott being on the recliner) with a bottle(I know a little too old for this but that's ok), one hand tucked behind his head. When he's ready for bed he points to the kitchen for his bottle and goes and stands by the recliner. Well last night Scott was in the kitchen fixing the bottle and Braden was laying on the couch(where the recliner is). Easton did not like this one bit. He was trying to pull Braden off the couch. It was hillarious. When Scott got there and moved Braden, Easton was happy as could be and climbed right up in Scotts lap. About this same time I took Isabelle back in the bedroom. Scott said Easton didn't even want Braden laying next to them.

"Eddy???"

This weekend the weather was beautiful!!! Easton could not be held back by the 102 temperature he had. He loves to be outside. He has moved on from basketball to baseball. He cannot get enough of it. Yesterday we were all outside and he would put the ball on the tee and say"eddy" which was supposed to mean "ready." You think we've said that a few times? Then he would hit the bat on the ground and hit the ball. It was so cute!!! One time I said "Easton run!" I really didn't think he would know what I meant but he dropped the bat and started running across the yard. When he runs he hasn't quite got the arms in sync so one arm goes back and forth while the other stays still. I got some great pics I will try to get posted soon. I got some great ones of Isabelle as well. We played "dress up" again. She was so cooperative. Poor baby started day care today. She seemed to do pretty well but I sure did miss her.

Blocked Shot

Braden's basketball season ended about 2 weeks ago. After the 1st game we thought it was going to be a very long season. The team ended up only winning 2 games but they really improved and had a lot of close games. So they got a trophy the night of their last game with a boy shooting the ball and we all went for pizza. On the way there Braden had this conversation with his mom:
Braden:Did you see that shot that I took where the guy blocked me?
Her: Yeah (Not having a clue what he was talking about)
Braden: Well how did they get me on this trophy without him blocking me?

He really thought it was him on the trophy...she didnt have the heart to tell him otherwise.

"That's Just the Way God Made Us"

I am truly blessed with a very sweet stepson. He is at that age though where he just wants to talk. Usually it's pretty much about nothing, I think he just likes to hear his voice. He always asks questions that I just don't know the answer to. So my answer is always "I guess that's just the way God made it." Well tonight we went for a drive to get Isabelle and Easton to sleep and me and Braden got some ice cream. Well the talking was in full force from the minute we got in the car. My favorite tonight was "Why does the moon follow us everywhere we go?" I really try not to get aggravated with him because he is just curious about everything so I try to be patient. After 20 minutes of NONSTOP talk I couldn't take it anymore so I said "Braden, why are you so talkative?" His response..."That's just the way God made me." I couldn't help but laugh and say "That's so true Braden."
